RARE Great condition Isuzu Trooper. This is a 1988 with 167,XXX miles. This truck is mechanically 100%. Starts right up and the 4x4 works beautifully. Note this does have the very reliable manual locking hubs. This truck is so much fun to drive. The ONLY reason I am selling this truck is because I found a (more expensive) one that is maroon. Air conditioning works and blows cold. Mechanically, everything works on this incredible truck. Tires are in magnificent condition.
Rust: THERE IS NONE!!! I bought this from Washington state . I'm not going to say 100% rust free but I AM going to say 99% rust free. There is some rust on the front bumper but even my mechanic wondered how I found one of these that is so rust free.
I had this truck in four wheel drive on some snowy dirt trails and this thing goes and GOES!!!
That being said, the truck could use a paint job. Front bumper could be sanded and painted no problem. You are going to need to fix the back bumper. And of course it has the fender bender dent in the back right corner. The interior is in great condition except for some staining of the interior and some rips in the front seats. I bought some floor pads for the truck for about $100 bucks and I'll throw them in for free. It has an aftermarket radio that works fine.
This is your new shop truck! Or your new hunting vehicle. But if I were you I would keep this baby STOCK!!! People always commented on it when I drove it around. Get this baby a paint job, fix the back bumper and you have one incredibly rare 4x4's. Try to find one this nice, you can't. These were all destroyed by people jacking them up, painting them camo and using them as work trucks. If you want to do that go ahead but don't underestimate the rarity of these things.
My kids love this truck. I think they like the more upright tall seating position. If you buy this, fix the paint, the bumper and the front seat upholstery call me, as I'll probably buy it back from you.
