OVERVIEW: This Trooper is extremely clean inside and out and is a rust free Californa car. For a 25+ year old vehicle, t has only a few minor dings and chips here and there. The paint shines up nicely and looks fantastic. I am the second owner. I bought this Trooper from the original owners out of Chico, alifornia in October of 2013 with just over 75,000 miles on it. This Trooper is all manual; manual transmission, anual windows and manual locks, ll in working order. This Trooper has the California emissions ECU for easy smog testing. Over the past two years, built the vehicle up to be my full time camping and overlanding rig, nd it was also featured in the 10th annual Japanese Classic Car Show in Long Beach California last year. For the purpose of this sale, have removed some of my modifications, owever included in the sale of this vehicle are the following upgrades, odifications and recent (within the past 18 months) maintenance items:

WHY AM I SELLING? A couple weeks ago I left for work and the Trooper didn’t seem to be running right so I immediately returned home. What I found is what seems to be a blown head gasket between cylinders 1 and 2. The Trooper did not overheat. There does not appear to be coolant in the oil. So I believe the gasket is toast between 1 and 2. I did a compression check on the motor and found cylinders 1 and 2 to have very low compression (like 25) while cyclinders 3 and 4 are somewhat normal (120 and 130). Please see the attached videos for how it is running currently. Now, could have fixed it, ut given some changing life circumstances, simply do not have the time or patience to deal with it. So my loss is your gain. As you can see from the amount of upgrades I have installed over the last couple years, have well over $15,000 invested in the Trooper as it is. While the engine does need work, or the right person, his is a fairly simple fix that will yield a very solid, lean, nd well equipped gen1 Trooper. The reserve I have set on this auction reflects what I am willing to let the vehicle sell for with all the upgrades listed included in the sale. If my reserve is not met, will be forced to part the vehicle out to maximize my return, ut I would really hate to have to do this to such a nice, ust free Trooper. As you probably know, en1 Troopers in clean condition are becoming rarer and rarer, nd as such, heir value as classic 4x4s has been steadily increasing over the years.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: I have been a die hard Isuzu fan for over 10 years and I have amassed a giant stockpile of spare parts. Everything from engine parts to body panels, lass, ou name it. I even have a freshly and professionally rebuilt 2.6 engine that I was going to use for another restore, hich could be worked into the deal for the right price. This Trooper does run and will move under it’s own power so it can be driven up onto a trailer for transport.
IF THE TROOPER SELLS: I will be including a binder with all paperwork from the time of purchase, s well as paperwork I got from the previous owner. The Trooper will come with two keys as well as the OEM owners manual and all associated original paperwork I have. The title is clear, n hand and ready to sign over.
CAVEATS: The Trooper is for sale elsewhere, nd I reserve the right to sell it locally. The vehicle is being sold as-is, here-is with no warranty of any kind. Winning bidder must pay an immediate, on-refundable deposit of $500. Complete payment must be remitted within 10 days.
