International Harvester step side pick up. Unusual truck. only one I have ever seen. Truck was a fire brush truck for the State of Delaware. I found it in a chicken coupe in Maryland where it had been stored for many years. and brought it down to Florida four years ago. Truck runs and drives but the rear right brake cylinder started leaking. so currently no brakes. I have the brake cylinders to replace them but they would need to be installed by the buyer. The engine runs good and does not smoke. Transmission is a four speed and shifts well. Hi/Lo range transfer case works. Clutch is good. Body is very rust free with only minimal spots as seen in the photos. The frame has surface rust but is in excellent condition as well. The floors have rust and scale. but are solid and could be sand blasted and painted. The worst rust is where the battery sits and could easily be cut out and new metal welded in. Overall the truck is very solid and complete. I added the slot mags and tires. I tuned up the engine. I rebuilt the carb. I changed the oil and filter. I replaced the gas tank with a good used one. cleaned it and painted it before installation. I did add a new fuel sender. but the gauge is not working and may be bad. The truck currently has bucket seats out of some other vehicle. I do have a correct bench seat. covered in blue vinyl. in good shape which goes with the truck. The truck runs good and is fun to drive. I only drove it on dirt roads where I work in the Florida Everglades. This is a rare. complete and solid truck. probably the only one you'll ever see. and is a good candidate for restoration. I have a clear Florida title in my name for the truck. I can deliver the truck for a Dollar per mile within the State of Florida. Truck is relisted due to buyer not being able to purchase vehicle. please be sure you are able to complete the transaction before agreeing to the sale.
