1968 International Harvester 1200C Fleetside 4X4 3/4 Ton TruckThis truck features a 4 speed manual transmission. Power Steering. Power Brakes. 345 CI IH Engine. Born in Western Oregon and lived in Oregon until I bought it and shipped all the way to TN. MechanicalsThe motor runs very strong with not strange knocks or valve rattle. The transmission shifts well. The does motor smokes a little at start up when sitting but does not smoke after it warms up. I has an electric fuel pump installed. The exhaust is there but old and needs new mufflers and pipes. They ran the pipes out the side. I did a tune up and converted the distributor to electronic with a Pertronix. MSD Coil. 8MM Bosch Wires. New Plugs. New Dist Cap and button. It has a new Duralast Gell Cell Battery. The Holley Carb runs pretty good. It might be a tad rich and could use a smaller jet. Power steering is really nice option on this truck. 4X4 Works and hubs lock. No real bad leaks on this old girl. Starts every time. BrakesIt has new wheel cylinders on the back and new shoes. Not an easy job. I repacked and replaced the wheel bearings. The fronts were in pretty good shape so I did not replace them. InteriorOnce tear in the seat but in good shape otherwise. Dash pad is cracked. Some original gauges and some not. Signals. brakes. headlights all work fine. Wipers work as well and are electric. No headliner but has a cowboy hat holder. BodyThis truck has the original paint in and out. It has dings and dents here and there as you can see. The bed is solid and the frame is very solid. There is some rust in the floor cab corners and a little at the top of the driver fender. The cowl is very good on this truck. It is missing the tailgate but I have a rust free one with all the hardware for $400 more if interested. There is a goose neck hitch in the bed that could be used. Door shut fine but have a little droop in the hinges. The window roll up and down just fine. GlassCracks in the windshield. Back glass is good. Side windows good. Wheels and TiresOld spilt rim tires and wheels. They hold air and that is just about it. They need replaced. I have included the spare rim in the bed for restore. This truck could be driven as is or restored. You just don't see them very often with the original paint and this color is really special. All the stainless trim is there which is rare. This truck was top of the line back in 1968. It is a heavy duty truck and a great piece of history. Clear title in my name. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
