1963 International Harvester Scout 80 "All Wheel Drive." I have a clear/clean Utah title in my name. Please look closely at my feedback score on Ebay. I have over 1000 positive feedbacks and no negatives. I want the new owner to know exactly what they are bidding on. With this in mind, I will list both the positive and negative aspects of my 1963 Scout. First on the positive side: This is a very original, complete, 1963 Scout. The engine runs good, starts easily, and as good compression in all four cylinders. I have replaced the brake master cylinder, and both thehydraulic clutch master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder. The scout shifts smoothly and the transmission is in good condition. The brakes stop the Scout, but the wheel cylinders need attention. The body is complete, the doors, hood, and rear hatchalign properly and open a close as designed. All the glass is good. The interior is complete, but the drivers seat needs attention. Please look closely at the photos. There are two gas tanks and the Scout is currently running off of the driver's side tank. It comes with an extra complete set of spare tires and rims. On the negative side: The Scout is 57 years old and has some problem areas. The Scout needs a muffler, and the right side gas tank cleaned. The body has a dent on the driver's side front, and there is rust in the passenger's side floor as well as across the back section of the floor. The paint is faded, and there are other dings and surface rust. The rockers also need attention. Again, please look closely at the photos. The interior is complete, but the driver's side seat is tattered. The Scout is a restoration project, but it would not take much to get it to be adaily driver. With a little brake work and a thorough tune up, the Scout could be driven as it is. If you have questions regarding the Scout please give me a call. I'm retired and will gladly answer your questions. My phone number is (801) 745-5835. If you have less then 5 positive feedbacks on Ebay, please message me or give me a call before you bid. I want this to be a good straightforward auction with no scams.
