1967 International Harvester 1200B Pickup Truck (C-line Series)
Running, driving, licensed/registered and insured. Title in hand.
V8 304 with Rwd Heavy Duty suspension and "t-34" 5 speed manual transmission, straight-side “bonus load†long bed.
Arizona truck with minimal surface rust--very solid! The typical under-the-cowl rust around the fresh air vents has been repaired! One small patch of rust under the driver’s feet has been fiber glassed over and could be repaired.
This was likely a cab-over camper vehicle, based on the heavy-duty rear hubs/springs, special transmission with granny gear and over-drive, and twin fuel tanks in the bed.
Thousands of dollars spent on new and replacement parts, including:
Engine block freeze plugs replaced,
New Carburetor, fuel lines, fuel tank filler hose,
New original mechanical fuel pump with glass filter bowl, (includes spare glass bowl!)
New engine, oil pan, intake, exhaust, valve cover gaskets,
New rear main seal and repair sleeve
New 3-row radiator core, hoses and thermostat, radiator cap
New window seals/door window felts
New wheel bearings, front and rear, new drum break shoes, rebuilt Master cylinder
Some dent repair has been done.
Split rim wheels and rear bumper powder coated
Front bumper re-chromed.
Interior door panels/dash painted, steering wheel restored, and bench seat re-covered including seat warmers.
Head lights and rear lenses
Spark plugs, distributor cap replaced as well as a coolant flush and several oil changes
Powder coated heater with new core (however, a leak developed upon install and will need to be removed and soldered.)
Operator's Manual, Shop Manuals, Parts book, Line Setting Ticket, and some receipts.
Two Sets of keys (New ignition, doors, fuel cap)
Many used parts sourced/installed including:
Hard to find large hubcaps
Front fascia and grill (from a ‘68 so you have the option of the 67 round headlight rings or 68 trim)
Tailgate, with hinges and latch and middle support hinge with license plate light
Radio dash plate (painted to match interior)
Deluxe horn ring
Fan shroud
(some parts that are missing are: visors, tailgate support struts, glove box closer latch (I had these but I’ve misplaced them.) It will need tail pipe, headlight trim/ring, radiator overflow and windshield washer tanks.
The truck starts right up and goes through the gears. But there is still plenty of “meat on the bone†left for the next owner to work on. Including erratic gauges/fuel pressure sender, washer pump installed, drive shaft support bearing, differential front seal, Horn ring, various wiring issues like the rear brake lights, turn signals etc. Differential and trans fluid should be replaced. Currently it has 10 year old 10 ply bias-style trailer tires with less than 100 miles on them. They don’t show any dry-rot and haven’t leaked any air in 10 years due to having inner tubes. (Handling will be improved by replacing them with new radial truck tires!) Original paint was turquoise, and has various dents repaired with bondo and a primer guide coat. Primer could be polished off, left in its patina, or given a nice new paint job, your choice! Includes some new body rubber/door seals to be installed after painting. Bench seat foam should be replaced with a stiffer seat pad and a thinner back rest pad. Seat warmers will have to wired-up. A hand-laid fiberglass dash pad could be upholstered. A stereo could be installed and a radio dash plate is included as well as a set of door panels with speaker holes already cut. Lots of extra parts period red cooler, oil can nozzles, original jack, tire changing tools, driver’s side front fender with fender gas fill to update to a 68 fuel tank, front fascia, grill, driver’s side door and hood included.
I would have liked to finish restoring this, but my special needs son requires all my time and money. I’d like to recoup the money I’ve spent and see it go to a good home. The ideal buyer knows Internationals and realizes how rare a rust-free American icon like this truly is.
Tons of photos, rust repair pictures and cold start video available too!
All serious offers considered, but please, no low-ballers or scammers
