1965 International Step Van

International Harvester Other . Condition is Used. Automatic. This van has the look. Theres hardly any of these out there for sale. It is at our work and there our people taking photos of it almost daily. I wish I could keep it but I just had a baby and I no longer have any time. I bought this last year on eBay from a dealer in California. The van was as is and needed some work. I originally intended for this van to be a company vehicle with our logo on it for events around town but haven't finished the complete restoration. The engine is not original. It has a Chevy 350 in it so it can move pretty fast. The good thing about the engine swap is that parts are so easy to find for a chevy 350. The cylinders are all firing. No misses. Sounds solid. Carburetor is good. Exhaust is tight with no leaks. Has headers and flomaster. Because it was in California all its life it has almost no rust. It has a brand new paint job on the exterior. There was a little bit of rust in between the windshields but we had bodywork done to fix it prior to painting. I had a lot of electrical work done. The turn signals and headlights wiring has been replaced. Lots of small tune ups done such as air filter, spark plugs and wires. Too many to list.From the back of the seat to the back doors is 8 feet long.
What I think still needs to be done...The engine still needs some work. It will occasionally stall out when coming to a stop. I haven't driven it frequently enough to figure out the problem. Its now been sitting for about 6 months. I occasionally start it up and let it run for a bit.Needs locks for all doors.Passenger side windshield has a crack.Driver's side needs a seat belt.
