This is a NO RESERVE auction, you are bidding to OWN the scout, there is no buy it now price. Only bid if you fully intend to close the deal at the end of the auction. It takes time, money, and effort to post on here!
The scout has had some recent work done to it because been sitting for many years. so It has had all new soft brake lines, rebuilt wheel cylinders, replaced master, and brake shoes, new front to back hard line, system has all new brake fluid. Truck has the optional 16 inch wheels and has 4 brand new tires with less than 5 miles on themGas tank is new, as are the fuel lines and fuel pump. A new gm style, internally regulated alternator has been installed to go with the new battery.New u-joints have been installed on the drive shafts along with straps where needed. Truck has locking front hubs and limited slip rear differential, 4x4 works. 3 speed manual also works well.wiring has been gone through to get the lights/turn signals operational. The interior has new seats installed, floors have been coated with truck bed liner. The top and bulkhead are both removable, so you get both a pick up, and a convertible SUV!The scout has been repainted in a metallic candy apple red with clear coat. It is showing a bit darker in the pics than it actually is. Overcast day when pics were taken. The body is in better than average condition in my opinion, paint shines pretty nice too! Engine runs well, has good power for what it is, and has good oil pressure, Transmission shifts smooth, brakes are good for its age, transfer case works in all settings.Truck is fun to drive! t would make a good off road toy, beach cruiser, hunting vehicle? The scout runs/drives/stops, and even looks pretty good, however, it is not a new Toyota, it is not a show truck, it is over 50 years old, and may need more work/tinkering/finishing, depending on what your goals are with the truck. You are welcome to ask questions, or to set up a time to come see the truck and I will do my best to accommodate you.You are bidding to OWN the truck, not the right of first refusal, therefore. the $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable . Fresh TX title in my name. Thanks for looking!
