Car description |
---|
1969 International Harvester Scout 800A Aristocrat for auction. In extremely original condition, this California car is rust free and has a running 304 V8 motor. Complete with original build sheet clean CA title, this Scout is the ideal candidate for someone to restore or drive daily after brakes and over all safety inspection of the vehicle are completed and serviced.
Numbers matching 304 V8, 3 speed, good clutch. 71,760 original miles. This truck spent all its life in Atwater, CA as a daily driver until 2011. Recently had the 2 barrel auto lite carburetor professionally rebuilt. The truck will run from an external fuel source and idles perfectly! A new polyurethane fuel tank with straps will be included. Some minor dings are found throughout the body and a slight dent is present at the drivers side front fender as well as holes on the front and rear of the roof, from a previous roof rack.
All dash cluster and interior lights are in working order including a.m. radio. All exterior lights and blinkers in working order including the license plate light. Some slight overspray of what looks like grey primer is present on the passenger front fender. Could be removed but I never tried. All door and hard top glass is in excellent (clear) condition and the drivers side and passengers side windows roll up and down. Windshield does have one small rock blemish, but clear otherwise. Tailgate secures nicely, lift gate hatch hinge has been lubed and secures and retracts appropriately.
To the best of my ability I’ve described the Scout. Over all it’s a great 1969 International Scout 800A that will not disappoint. The vehicle will need to trailered, shipping is the buyers responsibility. Vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied, $500 non-refundable deposit required within 48 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 7 days of auction close. Acceptable payment methods are cash in person, certified cashiers check or wire transfer. Inspection and viewing of the Scout before auction end is encouraged.
For any additional inquiries or questions, please contact me through eBay. Thank you.
