You are bidding on a 1964 International Harvester C900 shortbed pickup truck in good condition, with a really fun vibe. The C900 trucks are pretty rare, and hard to find complete & up & running. Here are the details:
I bought this truck last spring from a gentleman in Georgia where it has lived its whole life since new.I have a copy of the "line setting ticket" that show the original dealer who ordered it in 1964.As a result, the frame & body are very solid, with only minimal rust through on the rear of the bed with a half dozen 1/4" holes, along with a couple of rust spots where the driver's side door hinge adjustment covers go.The floorboards & cab are solid. The original color for the truck was yellow, and the previous owner put a "patina" job on the exterior, and then clear coated it.Clearly an amateur job,but looks great regardless.Definately turns heads wherever you go.
The original 4 cylinder 152ci motor fires up & runs great.Basically half of a 304 V-8 with one side lopped off.Truck fires right up & either hot or cold, and comes to a nice steady idle quickly.Previous owner installed an aluminum radiator.I rebuilt the carb, installed new plugs/wires,along with a new ignition coil.Timing was reset, and she runs good now.Great oil pressure & no smoke.Mileage is unknown,as the speedo cable needs replaced. All gauges work properly, except the gas gauge which always shows "full".Brakes work fine, and I haven't messed with them. There is a brand new brake/clutch master cylinder included from the previous owner new in the box.The original works fine.
The wheels are obviously not original, but the tires have plenty of tread left on them. The previous owner also installed a new exhaust system front to back.Lights & turn signals along with the brake lights work. The original seat is a little nasty, but has a slip cover on it.Door locks are present, but need the retainers installed.Missing the windshield wiper motor.
Overall,a really fun truck that can be driven as is,or taken to the next level.Would also make a great parts runner "shop truck".Use the "Buy It Now" option, and I will include a 304 V8 on a stand(90% complete) that the previous owner included with the truck when I bought it.Could be used for spares if needed(a lot of parts interchange),or used for another project.Offered at a fair "Buy It Now" price,or feel free to shoot me a reasonable offer.
I have the "signed off" Georgia title from the previous owner,so all you need to do is take it to your state's notary, and apply for a title in your state.
Please ask questions,as all sales are final.Winning bidder to make a $250.00 Paypal Deposit within 48 hrs,and full payment within 7 days.Winning bidder to make arrangements for pickup or transport, and I would like to have it picked up within a couple of weeks, unless arrangements are made prior to bidding.
