International Harvester Travelette Crew Cab 4x4

Selling 1966 International Harvester Travelette Crew Cab 4x4. A San Diego truck! Original paint! This truck is about as original as they come. Body is in pretty great condition. Overall really strait. Box needs a little body work. Original 4x4! All glass is perfect! Everything in cab is there and original! I have the grille in the garage, just not in photos. The truck currently has a dump bed mechanism attached under the bed. You can keep it as is, or bolt it off and the bed will bolt back to the frame at original height. All the mounts and everything are still there. It would probably take a few guys and an afternoon to unbolt the dumb mechanism.
Engine is brand new - the older gentlemen I purchased from bought a brand new inline 6 motor from International Harvester in the late 70's. He put the engine in the truck and then kept in storage. According to him the engine has never been driven before! From the looks of the motor I totally believe him! When he bought the motor he bought a bunch of new parts that are still in packages. In packages are a new water pump, a ton of gaskets, Exhaust manifold, intake manifold, etc. Comes with two full size spares and wheels along with a sweet rear bumper.
The truck sat for about 30 years. I hooked a battery up and the engine turned! I would rebuild the carb, flush the tank and I'll bet you she'd run great. I just don't have the time to give it what it needs. The only negatives are that the floor boards need patch work and there is a little rust starting on the bottom of the front fenders. The bed also has a small section in the back that is starting to rust out, however, the bed overall is in awesome condition.
Overall the body is super strait and dry! Just a few places that were mentioned. The frame and undercarriage is super solid. No rust at all on frame. Just needs to be cleaned up. The steering feels really tight. Has a clean original CA title. It's been on non-op for about thirty years so no back fees. Original black plates in the cab. Also has two massive like new maintenance manual's that the guy bought from IH with the motor.
