This all-aluminum (including wheels) Metro van started out with Portland General Electric as a PCB recovery vehicle, with two 500 gallon tanks; one for extraction, one for replacement. The mileage is correct; 39k original. It didn't travel out of the Portland metro are, and was not used frequently. All the equipment has been removed, now the van weighs 6,000lbs. GVW is 26,000, so it's got the carrying capacity for just about anything you load it with. The interior behind the driver's compartment measures 15' deep by 6'-4" tall by 7'-2" wide. Great bike hauler, food truck, builders's mobile shop/storage. I just replaced the entire exhaust system with dual exhaust up to and including the manifolds. The gas tank has been hot-tank cleaned, sealed, sand-blasted and painted. All new lines, electric fuel pump and re-built Holley carb. New breaker-less ignition/distributor, new alternator and starter. Pan removed, sand blasted, straightened and painted, replaced with new gasket. (goes without saying). All new wiring, all new clearance/marker lights. Wired with 7-pin tow receptacle, ready for 10k receiver hitch. 4-speed transmission with 2-speed rear-end. Truck's kinda slow, but unstoppable.
