this is not a typo ! 8700 original miles is correct. You are looking at a rare piece of history that needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate its condition. this truck spent all of its life indoors and was meticulously cared for since day one. for near 40 years it sat inside the back of the fire house rarely used until a retired fire chief purchased it did a repaint and trailered it to shows winning a few participation plaques a few of wich are still in the truck.this has all the original equipment still with it and the radio, siren, strobe lights all still work ! the only thing that has been removed is the water pumper tank that was in the bed. the spot lights are in decent condition still but not working at this time. this is a power steering and power brakes truck that makes it drive well. lots of power and torque with the 345 V-8 and the "Granny Gear 4 speed.I was told the engine could be the 392 because the truck is a one ton but we are unable to confirm wich one it is.The 1200B model could have had either one from what we understand. The heavy plytires are in good conditionwith no dry cracks.all gauges and lights work also emergency brake works well. The truck runs strong shifts smooth brakes well and goes down the road straight ! This has recently had new duel exhaust and a reese tow hitch with electric brake controller added. truck sounds great ! all chrome shows well and bumpers are near mint. I listed pictures to show general condition of this time capsule but I have more and would be glad to take more pictures of specific areas for any legit bidders. also I am available most days until 5 pm for anyone wanting to view the truck prior to auctions end. bidding and winning means paying and owning the truck, not looking later and then deciding you want it or not.this is a no reserve auction so bid to win and bid with confidence knowing you are getting a rare no rust ever show and parade worthy vehicle ! I reserve the rite to end the auction early as the truck is for sale locally.A $500 non refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auctions end and balance due in cash within seven days. vehicle must be picked up by buyer and I can help with loading if needed but can not transport the truck for you. any questions I can be reached at 3=1=5six,NINE48=three=1=4.....NO TEXTS.
