This auction is for a vintage 1968 IH International Scout model 800. It only has 52,xxx original miles and has most of its original green paint and later surface rust. I am going to be up front on this sale so don't waste your time looking at this if you expect to be driving a Scout soon. If your a handy mechanic and want to have a clean Scout that may last another 60 years this Scout has a chance. The exterior body is in excellent condition but the motor is froze up. That said it has the nicest external body excellent rockers, fenders, interior (except floor panels), dash including original am working PB radio, working emergency light switch, nice steering wheel, interior/exterior lights, key for door/glove box etc. I have had Scouts for over 40 years and the doors all have sagged or hard to close but these doors fit good and tight with original mirrors (mirrors are bad). It has the original light color bucket seats in good condition. Some restoration was started on the pickup box, original metal gas tanks repaired, replacement rails for the truck box, and some parts removed from the engine. If you look under the hook everything is original, The wiring all working, the brake lines are all there but brakes need work, it has original distributor, regulator, alternator, window washer bottle etc. I have a clean title and it states this Body Style is SPORTUTILITY paint Color GREEN ( like John Deere tractor). It has original muffler and pipes, tires are fair with original hub caps spare mount and spare. I have a complete engine short block all in parts so that will be part of this sale. The carb and radiator need to be replaced that is the only engine parts missing. I will provide more photos with top off and bucket seats in place. Email me for any questions.
