Own a Piece of History Western Logging History, Drive it as is or turn it into a badass Pickup.
Im selling my 1954 International Harvester RC180 Cab Over. I saved this beauty from Washington state where it was in a field for a few yearsafterliving a life of hauling logs for Washington State. Motor was freshly rebuilt before it sat and you can tell. Thisoriginal motor runs really well anddoesn't over heat at all. Heres some more info:
Exterior:The cab is in awesome shape with small rust spots in the cab corners. Doors close so easily and are really smooth. The paint is a great patina'd Blue and Orange. The doors still have the hand painted Logging truck number and phone number. All windows are there and solid. Slight bent on the front wheel fender that Im assuming can bepulled back very easily. Body is solid otherwise.
Lights work.
Motor:Motor was tuned up and a new battery was purchased for it. It runs very strong as you can tell in the videos Ive included. The dog house couldnot be found soyou'll have to make one or live with seeing the motor. The motor has a air compressor connected which feeds air to a largereservoir tank which was used for the rear trailer brakes. Now it can be used to power air tools or an airmanagement system.
Original Single Barrel Holey Carb- Check out the video I posted of me revving the motor. You can always tell the health of a motor by how it Revs'.
There are two gas tanks: One on the side has been left as is. The other has been removed, cleaned, and painted black.
Transmission works very well and has a 2 speed rear.
Brakes:The brakes on the truck work very well and can throw you through the windshield if youre not careful. Theres a huge air brake booster connected. The rearpassenger side wheel cylinder has started to leak and drained the brake fluid. Replace that cylinder and you should be good.
Interior:The truck comes with the original Seats and Bench back. I took them out simply to give the interior a full cleaning and scrub everywhere. The cab is ready to put down carpet orwhatever youd like to do. Solid floor. The seats need to be reupholstered if you want to use the same ones whichshouldn't be a lot. There are some additional International gauges on this truck that were added to help the loggers. One of those is a air pressure gauge for the brakes andcompressor.
VIDEOS:eBaywon't let me post videos directly soGo to youtube and search 70h20cQRVCE, cWpjXAL4_XY, and hnP6ntHg3KE for a revving Video.
Any other questions please dont hesitate to ask. This is a rare, oddlybeautiful machine in great working condition. Located in SouthFlorida where there are ZERO others. shoot me a text with any ?'s : 631 949 13o1
GoodLuck!
