I have a very nice all original 1962 International Harvestor Scout 80 Pick-up 4x4 Truck with Full Top and 115,200 Miles in Very Good Condition. Very solid truck, spent it's whole life on the front range near Denver Colorado, sold new in Denver also. The only thing missing is a driver side mirror. Also in the engine compartment the 3 vent stretch tubes, like a dryer vent tube only slightly larger, very easy to replace and all original clamps are still there. They were tattered from time and I removed them. Slight rust spot in the driver side floor board as shown in the close-up, not bad at all, the rest of the inside is all solid. Old dented area below the handle on the driver door as shown also in the close up. Otherwise dent free and very very minimal rust, mostly just the surface stuff we get here in Colorado and Wyoming, sand it off and paint. Rocker panels do have a couple small weak spots. I bought this as a project in 1997 and never got around to it. Started it last in about 2005 and started right up. However since then the break pedal has gone soft, probably one of the cylinders, and the gas smells bad. Has dual tanks and I think it best if you flush the gas system and lightly clean the carburetor before starting. All dash and gauges are intact and were working when last used. Seat needs recovered or replaced. This early 62' model has the split sliding door windows. I have the spare tire rim that matches the 4 on the truck and the spare tire carrier for the rear. Even the license plate holder and light are still intact and the original rear gas can holder. Very hard to find a 62' this original and complete. It is a project, but it will not take much at all to have this one on the road. Flush the gas system, fix the brakes, and new tires and you're driving it. Would be easy to paint and restore, but the patina this truck has money can't buy. Could go either way with this one. These early truck/jeep 4x4's are quite popular and in demand, I've seen these 62's fixed up for sale from $20,000 to $40,000+. Nice thing about this restoration, you don't have to round up parts, just restore and make it over. Does have one non original vintage chrome hood ornament, but it looks cool as can be. Local pick-up and we are in Longmont, Colorado. Has the tow bar on the front and if the tires were a little better, you could tow it home. I'll be glad to replace the tires before you get here if you want to tow it, if you pay for them. I will also be glad to help shippers load the truck, easy access. Very nice original 62' Scout 80.
