Car description

Great family off-roader or sunshine runabout. Here's a '74 International Scout, 345 V-8, 727 Auto, Dana 20 transfer case, Dana 44 front and rear, rear Detroit Locker.
I'm a longtime Scout enthusiast and master mechanic and have owned this Scout for 8 years AND I know the original owner. Full history, full maintenance, full build-specs. NO SURPRISES. This is a solidly-built off-roader that has been built with diamond-tough durability and reliability in mind. No corners cut. All top-quality materials and workmanship. It has been an occasional off-roader and desert trip vehicle. Performs flawlessly and reliably. I built the Scout to drive to the Baja races deep into Mexico. It has never broken down or left anyone stranded. It is stone reliable.

Lowlights: Has dents dings and scratches on original paint and decals. Turn signals do not work due to a short in one of the bulb sockets. If you wanted to do a "restore," I'd replace left and right rear quarters. (Condition shown in pictures). Otherwise, wheel as is
Bottom line: You're ready to hit the trails today. Needs nothing from a reliability standpoint. I would be comfortable to embark on a cross country drive.
Fine print: Reserve is very reasonable. I'm happy to work with your vehicle shipper, or you may pick up in person in Fallbrook, CA. If you wish to fly in to San Diego, I can help arrange transport. I encourage you to send a PM with your # and I'm happy to chat about the Scout prior to your bid. Please bid with confidence, my feedback record speaks for itself. My goal is to have you absolutely thrilled with this Scout.
