1976 international Scout II "Spirit of 76 Edition"

Rare "Spirit of 76" Scout II - up for auction is a rare limited edition Scout, only 384 Spirit models were ever built. This Scout comes with the build sheet, original owners manual, along with maintenance records and a clean N.C. Title. The truck runs grea, 4wd work, auto trans and brakes works fine. Frame is solid along with engine bay and front wheel wells hood and front fenders. Tub has rust in floors and rear fender wells. Removable top is badly rusted but the tail gait and lift gate are not bad, it has the 76 blue interior and chrome rally wheels. 345 V8 engine, runs strong.

I have had numerous emails and phone calls on this listing, to be fair, I will not close down the auction to sell outright; because of the amount of bidders involved. Again, I'd like to stress that this Scout "76 Spirit" is being auctioned and sold to the collector and will need extensive amounts of rust repair in the tub area and top.The" 76 Spirit " came originally with the canvas top, so that's quarter of the battle in the restoration. A rust free donor vehicle is recommended, do to major rust issues on body. If your buying this to pull the top of and ride around town thats fine too, but just remember its a COLLECTOR'S EDITION WITH PAPER WORK. thanks for looking.

I have had a few people ask me if the dash is blue or green. The dash is blue I've added a few new pictures. The dash is unmolested original. An equalizer added years ago. My camera doesn't really pick up the original blue color that well. I hope someone who gets it restores it so it can be shown off in Memorial Day and 4th of July parades. I want everyone to know that is and plan on bidding on this Scout, that the body is very rusty along with bottom of doors and hinge areas.The doors open and close fine with no drop down at all, If you dont mind the rust, its a driver. This will most likely need a rust free donor vehicle, to do an appropriate restoration.This Scout runs fine and looks good from a distance, it is a collectors item and should be restored. Frame,drivetrain and interior are fine. its missing the cigarette lighter and horn button. Please bid with this in mind.. There is a rust free Scout body with only surface rust on Ebay for under a thousand in California. Thank you and and Good Luck bidding.
