1975 - final year 200 model 1 Ton extra heavy duty International Harvesterup for sale. 5 Speed 4X4. Dana 70 Axles 4.88 gearing, Track Loc, Only has 35K in miles. Was a brushfire truck in its former glory as the reason for low mileage and was less used in the winter time which kept the road salt to a minimum.
The BAD First:Passenger side of dual fuel tank systemneeds servicing as it has rusted inside and puts out dirty fuel. Drivers side is good.Cab floor is rusted through likelydue to firemen's wetboots leaking tounder the matforits serviceyears but cab has a whole is great.Paint is not great but given rust proofing paint with 12 yr vinyl stripes to liven it up. Looks greatfor a workers truck. Dash cracked in multiple areas and mainlyaround old speakerbut still complete and has a reddash mat to improve appearance now not shown.
The GOOD:Runs likea mule - powerful but not fast. Traction is its greatest strength as it is geared low - really set up for off road and farm use. Idle up atree. A 6:1 granny and a low regular first gear followed by three gears up to the 1:1.Shifts right & synchros good. Clean motor -does not smoke or use oil but thereisnoticeable oil seeping on lower oil pan rear with no drips. Clutch islikely originaland strong. Rear brakes & cylindershave been replaced. Brakes & drives straight. 4WD is serious in action. The Traction King tires good for another easy 10K. Alpine stereo withfront6in Infinity& new rearPolk Audio marinehigh quality speakers. Set up with PTOpower take off in its T465, Trailer hitch with plug. CB works if you can find someone to talk to. Put a whole lot of heart into its appearance and sound system. Gets a lot of attention where ever it goes.
Asking $10,900 cashor make me a offer. For sale locally too. SadlyI don't use it enough.I believe I am thesecond ownerafter the Colorado Springs Fire Department service. Questions505 363-6817. Clear title.
