Car description

1961 International Harvester B-100 pickup mild Kustom. Runs and drives. Has running 62-63 IH 304 with Isky Cam, IMCA modified 500 cfm Holley 2bbl restricted to 400cfm, and 4 speed trans. Has the usual IH valve train noise. New rocker shafts and rocker bushings should quiet it up. This engine was installed about 2 months ago. It was a runner that was cleaned up and painted. If I was keeping it, my plan was to put a SBC/turbo 400 in it one day, maybe an LS. I'll bet there's more than a couple of you out there that have a small block Chevy and an automatic trans under A bench that you've been dying to drop in something for a long time. Here ya go! These IH engines are stump pullers, not performance oriented. Had some wiring issues when I got it. I patched it up but the previous owners work wasn't great. I had planned to install an ezwire or rebel wiring harness. Nice red and white upholstered bench seat, 56 corvette steering wheel. The interior needs to be painted. The door glass needs fuzzies and tracks ($160 online) and some weatherstripping which is also available online. The International Harvester Travelalls of the same year are very popular. From the doors forward this pick up is exactly the same vehicle. So there are actually quite a few parts available reproduction. Tires are BF Goodrich Silvertown 3-3/8" inch wide white walls on Wheel Vintiques Chrome Steel Wheels, metal bullet center caps, and bullet Chrome Lugnuts, only been on since February 2016 before it was driven to Cobo for Autorama (basement). Body is Solid with only a small area of the floor that needs repair. Paint is decent driver quality with some scuffs and scratches that will need some attention but you can see from the pictures it's an eye catcher. My plan was to have my buddy pin stripe the truck and stripe over the scratches, lol. It's a driver, not a trailer queen. Vintage '56 Porsche 356 Nerf bars on the front end in place of the front bumper. '61 Falcon Tail Lights. This is a cool truck that you won't see very often. It needs a little bit of work to make it completely badass.Extra parts:The original 304 Long block727 automatic transmission with an international Harvester bolt pattern bell housing. Trans is from a four-wheel-drive scout and will need a Mopar style output shaft/housing to be used in this truck. Drive shaft would need to be shortened also.Factory front shock mounts for the axle. These were broken when I got the truck. They were not easy to find. This is for sure a project that needs to be finished. But the cool part is, that you can tool around in a little bit while you're working on it. Unfortunately I have health issues that just don't enable me to work on it enough. This can be a really cool truck that most people will never own. You can pretty much guarantee that wherever you go, you'll have the only B-100 there. If you're not the only one there, at least you'll be the coolest one. The look is there, I just don't have what it takes to see it through to the end. I always thought it would look right at home on the cover of HopUp Magazine. Hey, we all daydream, lol. Thanks for looking.
Also, I have 2 additional vintage Yankee Bullet side mirrors that match the drivers mirror. Together the parts will make one nice matching mirror for the passenger side. I will post pics later.
