Up for sale is my 1978 Scout 11. I'm not sure where to start so i'll tell you the story of my scout as best as i can. I purchased the Scout from an undertaker in Peoria about 8 years ago. He collected alot of cars and trucks and he was unloading this scout. He told me he only ever used to go fishing. He had a light restore done to it in the 90', when i bought it, it was robin egg blue. this scout has the 345 with dana 44 axles front and back. The drivetrain is solid and reliable, i would drive it across country without a problem. After buying it i made a few changes. For one i got rid of the points on the car, and installed an electronic distributer, and a hot shot coil. After that it starts everytime. runs and drives good. It has a hard brake pedal, but it stops fine. i also installed a marine clarion stereo and four speakers. the speakers have blue led lights that light up whenever you want. Changed the paint from robin egg blue to coastal highway blue. under that is a midnight blu, then gray primer, . i was going to rub off some of the coastal highway blu, and expose some areas of the midnight blue and then shoot it with clear, but maybe the next owner can work on that. undercoated it two seperate times. i also installed seat belts due to my wife. OK now all the bad . none of the gauges work well. it has bad body work, it still has some rust and some dents and dings. the front seats need redone. its missing a small trim piece on the drivers side and a luggage rack mount. they disappeared at some point last year. i found both parts on scoutparts.com for 75 bucks. anyway . Its a blast to drive it down the road with the top off, and it goes off road great. 4x4 works fine, it has dual exhaust, and it has a nice growl to it. ill try to include a link with video.

I may accept a trade for a pontoon boat or some sort of rv or camper.
