THIS IS A VERY RARE AND DESIRABLE 1935 IHC HALF TON C-1 SERIES PICKUP TRUCK. PREVIOUSLY FROM CALIFORNIA WE HAVE THE TITLE TO PROVE IT. THIS TRUCK HAS STOCK APPEARANCE ON MOST EVERY LEVEL. HOWEVER, HE ENGINE HAS BEEN REPLACED AT A PRIOR TIME IN ITS LIFE WITH A FORD 250 INLINE SIX CYLINDER ENGINE OUT OF A 70'S MUSTANG OR PASSENGER CAR. THE TRANSMISSION IS A C4 AUTOMATIC. THE TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN SIGNIFICANTLY MODIFIED TOACCOMMODATETHIS ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. THE FRAME AND FIREWALL HAVE NOT BEEN CUT OR CHANGED BEYOND REPAIR. TO RETURN THIS TRUCK BACK TO ORIGINALITY, NE COULD SIMPLY INSTALL THE CORRECT ENGINE MOUNTS AND REPLACE BACK TO ORIGINAL. IN MY OPINION, HE ENGINE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SWAP HAVE MADE THIS TRUCK SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE TO DRIVE ON TODAY'S ROADS. I HAVE OWNED NUMEROUS 1930'S AND 1940'S INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS AND THEY ARE LIMITED TO BETWEEN 45-50 MPH TOP SPEED AND LOW POWER. I JUST TOOK THIS TRUCK TO A CAR SHOW AND IT WAS A 120 MILE ROUND TRIP AND CRUISED AT 55-60 MPH COMFORTABLY AND IT COULD HAVE GONE A LITTLE FASTER. IF YOU ARE GOING FOR ORIGINALITY, HIS ENGINE IS NOT FOR YOU. IF YOU WANT THIS TRUCK TO DRIVE SOMEWHATREGULARLY, HIS IS A GREAT SETUP. THE TRUCK STILL RETAINS IS "OLD TRUCK" FEEL SOMEWHAT BECAUSE IT STILL HAS MECHANICAL BRAKES AND THE ORIGINAL STEERING. THERE IS NO PROBLEM DRIVING THIS TRUCK ON ANY ROADS THE WAY IT SITS TODAY. I ENCOURAGE THE NEW BUYER TO DRIVE IT HOME! IT HAS 12VOLT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WITH GOOD BRIGHT HEADLIGHTS, URN SIGNALS, ND BRAKE LIGHTS. PERIOD CORRECT LOOKING MIRRORS ARE NOT ORIGINAL BUT ARE EXCEPTIONALLY FUNCTIONAL AND FAR BETTER THAN THE STOCK ONES. THE TRUCK CRANKS OVER AND STARTS FAST EVEN ON VERY COLD DAYS.THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THIS TRUCK IS A GREAT DAILY DRIVER. IF YOU ARE A PERFECTIONIST, HIS TRUCK MAY NOT BE FOR YOU, R CONSIDER THAT YOU WILL BE RE-RESTORING IT. THE CURRENT PAINT AND BODY WORK IS AMATEUR. HOWEVER, OR A DAILY DRIVER, T LOOKS SUPERB AND EVEN LOOKS GOOD GETTING A LITTLE DIRTY HERE AND THERE, IKE IT WAS MEANT TO BE USED WHEN IT WAS SOLD IN 1935. THE BODY PANEL AND DOOR FITMENT IS AVERAGE FOR A 1930'S TRUCK WITH A WOOD CAB. THE DOORS OPEN AND SHUT VERY WELL AND SOLID. IT WAS LIKELY THAT THE TAILGATE WAS REMADE AT SOME POINT IN ITS LIFE. ALSO, HIS TRUCK ORIGINALLY HAD A PASSENGER SIDEMOUNT SPARE TIRE. THE PREVIOUS OWNER FILLED THE SIDEMOUNT. WELDED IT SHUT BEFORE BODY AND PAINT WORK. THE BUMP OUT COULD STILL BE OPENED AND USED AGAIN. THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT FENDER UNDERNEATH. NOTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE, UST LETTING THE NEW BUYER KNOW. THE SEAT IS ALSO NOT ORIGINAL BUT SEMI-PERIOD CORRECT LOOKING AND VERY MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THE ORIGINAL. THE WINDSHIELD FOLDS OUT AS WELL AS THE COWL VENT.OVERALL THIS TRUCK NEEDS NOTHING AT ALL TO BE DAILY DRIVEN RIGHT NOW TODAY. THE NEW BUYER CAN DRIVE IT HOME. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TRUCK TO TAKE TO A CONCOURS SHOW, HIS ISNT THE ONE. BUT A GREAT DAILY DRIVER THAT GOES 55MPH AND TURNS HEADS, HIS IS FOR YOU.LOCATED IN COCHRANVILLE, A 19330 WHICH IS ABOUT HALFWAY BETWEEN LANCASTER, A AND PHILADELPHIA, A.
