1978 International Scout II, 345 V8, 4WD, 4-SPD, AC, PS, PB, Original Paint

Don't miss this one! This is your chance to own a very original Scout II equipped with modest upgrades. It was originally sold in Weatherford, X and has spent its life in the north TX area.When I purchased the Scout three years ago, t was completely original down to the bottle cap hubcaps. Since that time, Skyjacker 4" suspension lift was installed, 3" BFG Mud Terrains were added with satin black wheels, new bumpers, new Alpine stereo with Bluetooth, nd new seat covers made with marine grade materials were made and installed. Other upgrades include original air conditioning (new compressor) changed to 134a, rebuilt steering gear, liminated steering rag joint with Borgeson U-joints, eavy duty drag link, ropped pitman arm, nd a new Pertronix electronic ignition. The body is in amazingly good shape for its age. It has a couple bumps and bruises but it VERY solid. I have owned several Scouts over the years and this is the most solid body of any I have owned. The roof was repainted with a base/clear coat last year to protect it from the elements. The windows are tinted. Two small rust spots include one in front of the right rear wheel and one on the driver side bottom of the A-pillar by the windshield. Doors open, hut, nd lock with ease.This truck is my weekend driver so it is driven regularly. It runs very well and starts easily. The transmission is a wide ratio 4-spd. It has 3.54 Dana 44's front and rear. 4wd works fine.
