Car description

You are looking at a restored 1974 IH Scout II. Below is a list of what has been done to the Scout as well as notes for the potential buyer:Interior:The cab has been coated with Rhino Liner (firewall to rear seat). The bed has been replaced with Black Diamond Plate (original bed had some rust).Fully reclining Corbeau seat for the front with reupholstered rear seat to match.Brand new Sony sound system with Deluxe Stereo Tuffy Security Console.Full custom dash with brand new AutoMeter American Muscle gauges that work wonderfully.Rallye steering wheel.Windshield wipers and horn are not connected currently...never planned on using them.Exterior:Custom paint in the original factory color 'Flame Red' and painted black Rallye stripe with clear coat. Paint is beautiful..watch the video and you'll see how shiny it is.New bikini top.Top is included (as seen in pics) and has been coated with Rhino Liner.Has brand new lenses all the way around. No old dingy looking lenses.Tires are 32" so you could go taller and wider if you preferred. Tires are a little old and would recommend replacing soon.Engine & Suspension:I believe the Scout has a 2.5" spring lift and 2" body lift giving it a total 4.5" of lift. Like most lifted Scouts...it does wander a bit but is manageable once you get used to it.Engine is the original 345 rebuilt with EFI system purchased from IH Parts America. This feature is amazing...simply turn the key to start and there is no hesitation when you hit the gas pedal. The transmission and transfer case are original and we both rebuilt as well.3.73 gear ratio.Stainless steel brake lines.Trans pan does leak a bit as well as where the dipstick inserts into the oil pan. There are no leaks with the valve covers or oil pan.Overall this is a very nice Scout that has had a lot of time and attention given to it. I have bills to pay and that is what forces the sale. If you would like to see the Scout and take it for a test drive or just have questions give me a call at 559-362-5876.
