Car description

This truck is a daily driver and everything works minus the dome light and radio back-light. The truck was originally in the Fair Oaks, alifornia fire department. The body is straight and all panels are solid. There is no cancerous rust, nly superficial surface spots where the paint has chipped. The body on this truck is very good; the only issue are some random holes were drilled to mount fire fighting stuff.I have owned this truck since 2009. A previous owner sanded down the rust, ainted it black and fitted a radio. Also, t some point, he original rear axel broke and was replaced with a Dana 80 (with overload springs). Due to a different bolt pattern, here are two spares. This truck has been retrofitted with an alternator. What I have done since 2009:All new Cooper tiresNew front brake padsRepacked front wheel bearingsNew front brake linesNew master cylinderNew carburetorNew recored radiatorNew hoses/beltsNew H4 conversion headlightsNew water pumpNew shocksNew valve oil sealsRegular maintenanceThe truck is a runner; I have driven it to Colorado and back and everywhere in between. The utility bed is very handy and has a sliding roof. The truck has a clean Colorado title and comes with the IH service manuals and various service records dating back to the early 90's. Sold with truck are some spare parts (points, oses, elts, tc.) and 3 of the four missing emblems as seen in the picture. The odometer reads just shy of 84,000 miles. I purchased the truck at 58,000 miles if I remember correctly. I find the milage hard to believe due to the age of the vehicle and the wear on the pedals. That said, pulled the oil pan shortly after purchasing the rig and could still see honing makes in the cylinders... Regardless, he 266 runs very good.A short video of the truck running can be found here:https://youtu.be/go2nXh5FmvsThe truck is sold as is. Shipping is not included. A deposit of $1,000.00 will be due via Pay Pal with-in 3 days of auction close. Payment in full within 10 days of auction close or when you pick up the vehicle if that is sooner. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I am more than happy to answer any questions. Please note the starter solenoid works but is on its way out.
