Buy My top-less Galaxie and I 'll tell You where You can get a "Starliner roof". or where two "Sunliner" convertibles are (cheap) with good top rails but rotten lower bodies. With My car as a donor and one of the other bodies. You could build a "Sunliner" cheaper than You could buy one. For sale is a 1960 Ford "Top Less" Galaxie 2 door rolling body/chassis(NO MOTOR or TRANS). This was a 2 door sedan that the roof and sedan post were removed. The body is very straight and solid. This car came from the south-west and has little to no rust. The worst is in the front area of the trunk floor. It comes with a new tinted/shaded windshield. a nice pair of original Starliner vent window assemblies. two new tail light bezels. 4 original tail light lens. 2 original tail light housings and all the interior but carpet. It has dual exhaust. a 9-inch rear end and a good "heavy-duty" cross-flow radiator. All brakes and steering work great(this is a power steering car missing the slave cylinder). The rear wheel opening areas were cut open before I purchased it. I have since welded patch panels in and started work on both. There are a lot of misc. parts that go with this project not listed. I have a State of New Mexico title on this vehicle(buyer will receive a Mississippi bill of sale along with the title). This would make a great project for the winter and have it ready for spring cruises!. Buyer is to arrange for pick-up or shipping. I can store this vehicle after full payment is received for any reasonable length of time(no charge for storage).
