Car description

Honda Other . Condition is Used. Japan VIN PP11029693
Have a stimulus check burning a hole in your pocket? Why not consider one of the nicest Honda Beats you will ever see online?
This car is a 1993 model has 68,206 miles on it. Runs great in addition to being in awesome condition. There are the expectedimperfections that you would expect in a 27-year-old car, but I think you will be won't find anything bad here. This car has none ofthe major rust that plagues some of the cars of this era. The interior is also in excellent condition and the seats show very littleof the common holes and wear that is frequently seen in this car. AC, Heat and Radio work as expected. The CD changer worked until recently but the 6-CD cartridge is jammed in the trunk mounted changer. I keep the factory seats covered with aftermarket covers (included).
The car is super fun to drive and you will find many videos online that describe the handling of this car. Not super-fast but still a great drive. This is a real attention-getter with the Honda crowd!
I am confident of great condition of this vehicle and have posted many pictures to illustrate that fact. Many more photos available on request.
This car is fully licensed and emissions tested in the State of Oregon and has current tags until June, 2021. Also has clear Oregon Title.
Garaged and covered and only driven occasionally. I'm getting rid of this beautiful car as I am trying make room for a recent acquisition.
I imported this car myself early last year and have made several trips from Portland to Seattle in this car without issues. The car comes with several tasteful upgrades and original accessories that you might not get with another car you might see for sale.
Among these are:
  • -HKS Dual Exhaust
  • -Upgraded aftermarket suspension (unknown brand)
  • -OZ 14" Alloy wheels
  • -Atlas Strut Braces
  • -Atlas Front body brace
  • -Original Factory Tonnau Cover
  • -Clear quick-remove Engine Cover (Original Engine cover will come with car)
  • -Ultra Speed Meter (Speed Limiter disable device-When I unplugged this the Check Engine light came on, but no difference in engine operation)
  • -Spare Tire Storage bin
  • -Original Honda Beat Tool Kit
  • -Original Honda Beat Manual
  • -6-Disc Factory CD Changer (used to work but CD cartridge is now jammed)
  • -US to Japan FM Frequency converter installed to receive US FM radio stations

Additional parts that will come with the car:
  • -Spare ECU*
  • -Timing Belt replacement kit (Belt, tensioner, idler, seals, water pump)
  • -Clutch Replacement kit (clutch, cover, bearing)
  • -Extra Air Filter (came with car may be slightly used)
  • -Genuine Japanese Emergency Flare
  • -Extra OEM Center Console (purchased used to get the original factory ash tray. Previous owner painted ashtray green)
  • -Collection of Japanese Honda Beat Books (History, Design, Repair)
  • -Printed copies of Repair Manual
  • -Japanese Beat PP1 Maintenance DVD Video

Recent maintenance performed in the last year:
  • -Oil Changes
  • -Air Filter
  • -Distributor and Rotor replaced
  • -New Ignition Wires

Car still drives fine but the timing belt and clutch will eventually need to be replaced. I bought the timing/clutch parts when I got the car so that I could avoid having to pay for expensive shipping later and parts are MUCH cheaper in Japan. Again, these parts are included with the car and will save you $$$.
Feel free to ask questions. Free local pickup. Shipping out of area will need to be arranged by buyer. Thanks.
* After I removed the "Ultra Speed Meter", the Check Engine light came on. I ordered a spare ECU thinking that would clear the light. I have not received that yet. If it does not arrive when the car is sold,I will reduce the price by $500. I can also ship or deliver the ECU to the new owner for full price.
