Car description |
---|
1993 Honda Del Sol S, black in color. This car is owned by the original owner, and has been in California almost its entire life, since late 1993. Since 2005, the Del Sol has been located in Los Angeles, and has never experienced a winter climate. The owner has been able to work from home and has only driven @9000 miles, since 2005, and in the last two years, less than 400 miles.
The car is almost always covered, and the paint is in very good condition, due to the covering, and low mileage since it was re-painted in 2006. The car was repainted due to damage on the hood and roof related to tree sap from trees at a previous residence.
We are purchasing a new SUV and no longer have a need for the Del Sol as a second car. It's a great little car, but we don't need to have 3 vehicles.
I was very surprised when I researched the Kelly Bluebook price on these vehicles, and that is why I have set the price so low. If you compare the other Del Sol's that are for sale, they are listed for much higher prices. This model is the base model, so that would price lower than the SI model, but nonetheless, I am starting at $2000, and letting bidders determine a fair price. If there are dealers out there, this is probably a great opportunity to pick up a car for your lot.
Deposit of US $500 within 24 hours of auction close. Full payment is required within 3 days of auction close.
NOTE (4/16): I just looked at the Auto Check summary for this vehicle and it is showing an error, so in the interest of full disclosure I am providing this information. I also encourage you to purchase a vehicle report, perhaps from Carfax, since Auto Check missed this detail - my wife had two minor fender benders somewhere @ 1994 and later @ 1996 that were professionally repaired; since then, I do not recall any issues. However, you are welcome to refer to a vehicle history report and I will do my best to address your questions.
