Car description |
---|
1989 Honda CRX Si with a California legal (bard) b18c1 engine swap. The car was repainted at some point in time, but this is the original color. I was planning on keeping this car but plans change in life. Here is a list of current modification and parts that have recently been replaced.
Runs great!! I put 600+ miles on it each week.
Note: this auction for includes a running car and a similar non running car that is good for parts only.

Total spent in parts in the last year $1,594
Here is a list of parts I've replaced without receipts.
Koyo racing radiator $250Distributor $250Starter $120Tires $400Passenger seat racing harness $250Hasport engine mounts $350
Total $1,620
Here are the negative points
The previous owner rear ended someone so it has minor front end damage in the hood needs to be replaced.
The car is 31 years old and was sitting for a few years before I bought it so it has some rust. But most of it is just surface rust and the shell has good replacement parts.
Positives
This car has a clean title and most of the body is really straight. The interior is 100% complete and most of it is in immaculate condition.
Engine swap
This car has a California legal (bard) b18c1 swap from an 1994 Integra gsr. The swap uses the Integra gsr transmission and ecu. I am also using hasport Engine mounts and cable to hydro conversions.
Note: previous owner had the engine rebuilt several years ago. I don't have paperwork on the rebuild but it was rebuilt about 50k miles ago. I've always use synthetic oil, the engine is spotless inside.
Suspension mods done by previous owner
Skunk2 front camber kitsSkunk2 rear camber kitsTein coiloversRear sway barRear lower control arms and cross supportFront and rear strut tower bars.
Other mods
Quick release steering wheelDriver racing harnessPassenger racing harnessIntake with k&n filter2.75 in exhaust from the cat backKoyo aluminum racing radiator
The shell
The shell is a 1990 CRX SI Bard for b20. It is a rolling chassis and includes full interior with the exception of the driver seats and steering wheel. The exterior is missing the entire front clip, sunroof and rear tail lights. With the exception of the driver side fender and passenger side headlight.
Note: it is not necessary to take the Shell with the running car. but if you want any of the parts from the shell you must take the entire car. The shell is a parts car only which holds a clean title $800 in back fees to DMV and is missing all paperwork.
