Car description

You are looking at a beautiful and apparently rare 1978 Honda Civic CVCC wagon. It has that infamous semi-automatic 2-speed Hondamatic transmission (you have to put in the gear yourself). I'll be more than happy to have pics taken of the car. This is a project but it does run and will run better with some tweaking. Body: As the pictures show. this car has primer on. and I added a little bit more on the rust areas. I bought the car already primered. but the real color is a metallic light blue. Has rust spots but it's not cancer ridden. at least what can be seen with the primer on. Most parts are there. even a very old roof rack. I'm missing the left side marker in the front. so I installed a rear side marker. Has some dings in the front. mainly on the left corner. like a little dent. Rear badge "Civic CVCC" will need to be replaced. Mechanical: I've worked hard to get this guy to a daily driver condition. replaced many components of the car during the last two years that I've owned it. Recently did a head gasket job. but the mechanic didn't set the timing right so it runs really sluggish. especially on the hills. and the carb is not helping. so it will need to be towed. Carb was rebuilt less than 7 months ago at a reputable carburetor shop. but it looks like the mixtures need to be adjusted. Keep in mind this is CA car. held to smog requirements. Fuel gauge not giving the right readings. and this happened after we dropped the tank; I'm thinking we might have moved a wire. Comes with a rare AC option (only offered at the dealership). although I took at out the compressor because it got in the way of accessing the timing belt. Note: Notice a minor oil leak. not sure where it's coming from. *Replaced*: Carb. ignition points and ballast and coil. Fuel pump. alternator (rebuilt). wires and plugs. fuses. battery. radiator (rebuilt) and radiator cap. head gasket set installed. thermostat. cap and rotor. some fuel lines and vacuum lines. Tank was cleaned the best it could be cleaned without making holes. Interior: Dash is cracked but almost everything is there. Will need some carpeting. The front seats were reupholstered and the rear seats are in the very good condition. Headliner is pristine for it's age. Trunk door opens but doesn't look and the shocks have gave out.
