I'M SURE THERE'S A FEW MORE THINGS DONE BUT ALL I CAN THINK OF FOR NOW. I'M THE THIRD OWNER AND I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM CANADA WITH INTENTIONS OF RESTORING IT AND STARTED, WHEN BABY NUMBER #1 ARRIVED A YEAR AGO AND THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING SINCE.SOME HISTORY: The Honda Quint was a subcompact car manufactured by Honda in Japan from 1980 to 1985. It was introduced in February 1980 in Japan as a five-door liftback version of the Honda Civic, being more upscale than the Civic,[1] and was sold at the Honda Verno sales channel in Japan. The Quint was made available to export markets including Europe and Southeast Asia in 1981, with the export name being Honda Quintet. Beginning in 1983, this model was also sold in Australia as the Rover Quintet.[2] The Quint was succeeded by the Honda Quint Integra in 1985.
The car came with a 1,602 cc four-cylinder engine which develops 80 PS (79 bhp; 59 kW) and 126.5 Nâ‹…m (93.3 lbâ‹…ft) of torque. This engine was coupled with a five-speed manual transmission or an optional two-speed semi-automatic with overdrive. A three-speed version of the Hondamatic replaced this during 1982.[3] Speed sensitive power steering and fully independent suspension with MacPherson struts and front and rear anti-roll bars were also featured.
CLEAN TITLE IN HAND WITH CURRENT WASHINGTON PLATES.
PLEASE.......UNDERSTAND THIS CAR IS NOT FOR EVERYONE AND IT'S NOT YOUR NORMAL KID CAR AS THE CAR WAS NOT EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS OR AIR CONDITIONING AND NOT MANY SAFTEY FEATURES, HENCE "WIFE WANTING IT GONEâ€, AND MILEAGE IS IN KILOMETERS. I THINK THE CAR HAS ROUGHLY 68,000 MILES.
IT MORE FOR THE ENTHUSIAST OR FOR THE GUY OR GIRL THAT WANTS SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN ANYONE ELSE.There is some rust on the car but no holes and all the trunk and floorboards are solid. The paint job was done by a friend and you can tell as there is some runs and flaking from a distance it's pretty good looking.I have let the motor run over an hour at idle and no overheating or leaks. It's probably going to need CV boots and struts in the near future but is very drivable right away.
