Car description |

Up for auction is a rare 1980 Honda Civic wagon 1.5L CVCC with 5 speed transmission. This is a running and driveable vehicle. It has been driving recently on 30 minute commutes without issue.
The interior is in good condition although all seat foam is in rough shape. The rear bench was in such rough chape is was removed and trashed, The seat back and rear seatbelt hardware remains and will be included in the sale. The fuel gauge works intermittently. One rust hole in the cargo area that can be seen in the pic.Mechanically the car is sound. Cold start-ups are more difficult than once its been running. Idle is a touch high but very smooth. There is a small oil leak that will leave a couple drops when the car is parked. Brakes are new and work well. The clutch still engages and no weird noises when shifting (although 5th gear throw is really far to the right, takes some getting use to). It will do interstate speeds even in the high altitude of Colorado. The Exterior is far from perfect. Painted it via the "Rustoleum Paint Job" and although it looks quite good from 10 feet away, you can see my mistakes when you get up close. Most noticeably is the poor application of clear coat...but you gotta learn somehow eh?! Body was quite straight and rust free (besides minor surface patina) when I started. There is tint on the windows although it has some streaks and bubbles. Tires are in near new condition.
This is the second 2nd Gen wagon I have owned and these cars always get big smiles and thumbs up. I have another project I need to start on so this little silver beauty has to find a new owner.
Sold as-is to contiguous USA only.
