Now available is this first generation Honda Acty Street. This classic has been very well preserved throughout it’s 37 years and will make for an excellent addition to any collection.
Looking at the exterior you will see that the factory blue still shines wonderfully for its age, something not so common as most 30+ year old single stage paint tends to fail quickly. Only very minor scratches and dings are present but nothing too concerning at all. The decals have held up incredibly well and give it a proper 80s vibe. In direct sunlight, the blue with the decals is an attention magnet to everyone so be sure to add 5-10 minutes on any commute because you will certainly be answering questions from people wherever you park.
Moving to the interior and you will certainly smile when you see the peanut butter and plaid print design. In our opinion it is the best interior we have ever seen in an Acty and it compliments the blue exterior very well. The dash, door cards and fabrics have stood the test of time. We are certain that this van had to have been kept indoors.
Mechanically the vehicle is very good. The 550cc EH SOHC 2-cylinder fires up right away. After a good 5-10 minute warm up it drives very well and provides plenty of power needed on the roadways. You could take it on the highly if you absolutely had to but it isn’t recommended to strain the engine as the intended purpose was to be on roads under 55mph. Cruising between 35-45 mph is when this Acty Street gives its best experience.
Do not miss this opportunity at a wonderful first generation example! The basic white trims can be a little easier to find but this is our first time seeing a nicely equipped version.
