Car description

I'm just seeing if there is any interest...
I've owned this car for the past four years. It's my second Si, and they really are a blast to drive. Dollar for dollar, you're not likely to find anything that's more fun. That said, I've recently looked at another vehicle and there will no longer be room in the "stable" for this one if I get it. And I may get the other car if there is interest in this one; otherwise, I'm keeping it and walking away from the other.
This is not a perfect car, but it's an awfully nice one. I purchased it in North Carolina and have been using it as a weekend runabout in the nice weather. Since purchase, I've done the following:
  • Timing Belt Change
  • New Tires
  • New Exhaust
  • Rebuilt the power steering rack
  • Fixed the air conditioning
  • Installed a new front bumper
The car runs great. Mechanically, it needs shocks; especially in the rear. Electrically, the window motors are slow (the passenger window sometimes needs a little help), and the intermittent wiper setting doesn't always cycle through. Cosmetically, there is a small rock chip in the front windscreen, a small rock chip on the driver side rocker panel that has surface rust, a small spot of bubbling on the passenger side rear wheel well, and the window trim could be painted. I attempted to paint some of the window trim once, and left some overspray on the driver side mirror (I will try and wipe that off this weekend).
This is an extremely reliable car; one that I would drive anywhere. If my son was closer to being able to drive (he's only thirteen), I wouldn't be looking at anything else, instead simply keeping it for him. But he's not; and I am.
Please don't come at me with NADA or Kelly Blue Book values. I know that I'm asking more than what's listed by those services. If I had a common car, I'd likely pay more attention to what they have to say, but this is far from a common sight, so its "value" is solely dependent on personal interest. Also, I know there are two or three floating around Craigslist for less. If that's what you want, I'd suggest buying those.
However, if you have a love for old Honda's and want well cared for weekend driver? This may be the car for you.
Thanks for reading. Let me know if you have any questions.
