Car description |
---|
I am selling a 1991 Honda Prelude Si in good/average condition for $1,800 OBO. I recently bought a Subaru Outback to carry my bike, kayaks, and other cargo.
Send me a message for more information and any questions you have.
The car is straight, tight, fun to drive, and receives compliments from mechanics, people at red lights, and Honda enthusiasts. I am the second owner and my uncle was the first owner so I know the vehicle's history. The vehicle was originally titled in California (1991-2013), then Washington where I lived (2013-2017), and is now titled in Missouri.
Pros:
- New cooling system (radiator, water pump, hoses, radiator cap, flushed, replaced cam and crank seals, fan switch, idle valve)
- New power steering pump and serpentine belt
- New timing belt
- Oil pan gasket replaced
- Replaced exhaust pipe
- Replaced speed sensor
- Replaced fuel filter
- Replaced front motor mount
- New battery
- Clean interior
- Exempt from MO smog and emission tests
Cons:
- No A/C (freon needs to be recharged or the entire unit replaced)
- No radio, fuse may need to be replaced but after-market stereo can be added
- Dealership in WA state replaced alternator 2 years ago... but needs to be replaced again. Car requires a jump.
- Steering wheel vibrates when in drive and brakes on. Rotors need to be replaced or new motor mount?
- Loose bolts on exhaust pipe
- Cracked CV boot
- Rear reverse light cracked
- Cosmetic dings, chips
I keep a maintenance spreadsheet and can provide all service records and walk you through the history of this vehicle - full transparency. Oil changed regularly approx. every 2,000 miles with Castrol high mileage.
