The Good
+Recent Oil Change +Turbo muffler added ’07 with larger air intake ’02 (faster acceleration) similar to Si. Newer used back tire replaced recently. New timing belt and water pump ‘08. New alternator ‘09. New console (odometer cluster and speed sensor) ‘07. All repair records kept. Engine purrs. Optima Yellow Top Dual Purpose deep cycle battery. Starts every time. Good tires on front replaced in the beginning of ‘08. Replaced valve cover gasket seals ’14. Repaired fuel pump relay ’15. Great first-car, student car, or work car, economical A-to-B transportation... A Nice Light Aluminum Frame for upgrades, racing, mechanics, Honda EF Enthusiasts Project, for Acura Engine Swap, 3rd party modding. Great Gas Mileage. Dark tint in cargo area. Well sought-after EF Model by Honda lovers. Heavy-duty tan tweed seat covers. Student owned, reliable, and efficient. Many original stock parts. Has a lot of life left in her, Hondas last 200-300K miles++ Comes with spare key and original manual. Low mileage for its year @ ~183k. Fun to drive. Manual 4-speed 1.5 liter sips gasoline. +20 dollars fills the tank. And you can get 300 miles per tank of gas. avg over 30+ mpg highway Only 3 Owners including me.
-The Bad
-Transmission fluid needs flushing and checking, and front bearings. Check tire rods, brakes. No AC or radio. Could use some newer tires all around soon. Driver’s side door handle only opens from inside as spring handle is worn out, key entry on passenger side only. Back hatch is loose and needs a new latch and alignment. Has some leaks here and there, oil, gaskets, radiator, doesn’t affect running, driving function. Could use a tune-up and to tighten some things.
~The Ugly
Some crimps and dents on body, rust. Hatch Fin 3rd brake light removed. Sun damage on console and vinyl upholstery (underneath high quality heavy duty tweed seat covers). Driver side window is off track. You might want to add spoilers or lower profile tires for looks, I took off the OEM plastic rain guards from undercarriage, I still have them.
*****
This is a great car, runs good, reliable when I need it. She has been good to me, few problems and easy to maintain. This car has been a champ from Florida to California all the way to Seattle and back (see the pictures). Engine purrs. Plenty of life left for the right buyer. See NADA Auto Guide this is priced Low to Average Retail (see last pic). This Is A Classic Car!
