Car description

1984 Honda accord lx one owner No reserve. My great uncle bought this car brand new in 1984 in Texas and lovingly took care of it. They moved to Illinois in the late 1990s, bought another Honda and kept this as spare car till the year 2000. At that point he decided his faithful car deserved a long rest, and parked in the Garage. Now in his late 80s he has decided he wants it to go to another person to take care of it. I decided to do one better, and I wanted him to see it run and drive before it goes. I surprised him at his 50th wedding anniversary by driving it into the party. Made him happy to see her alive again.

Car has no rust, except two 1-2" spots under the battery, of which I have treated with rust preventive primer. I have drained all the gas/flushed lines, new fuel pump. Changed the oil and filter in it. Replaced one wheel bearing, as all the others are good. I rebuilt the top of the carb. Carb was rebuilt before they stopped driving it, I think it needs a new primary jet. Clutch is great. I think it may need an alternator. I am keeping the battery, but we can use it to load and unload car. I put two brand new tires on the front. It will need two new ones on back, they hold air. Car is great time capsule of Honda accord. Its all there, runs and drives. Does have dent on hood and drivers door. some other surface rust. Clear coat was peeled on roof and hood. I have recleared and painted these areas. Car will be an easy project car. fun little driver. its light, may be good race car, chump race car. I have heard they make great demo derby cars, but don't tell me if that what's going to happen to it. It will need to be trailered or towed home. I can deliver it for $1.50 a mile.

If you have less then 5 positive feedback, email me before you bid, or I will cancel your bid. need $200 deposit at end of auction, rest in cash when you pick up car. You will have 2 weeks to pick up the car, unless other arraignments are made, if not I will charge $25 a day storage( had a issue with someone before)

Last bid will own this little Honda gem. thanks for looking and feel free to contact me to ask any questions before you buy.
