Car description |
---|
I am the second owner of this very rare 1994 del Sol VTEC. I bought the car in September of 2013 from the original owner with only 89,XXX miles. The original owner bought the car new in St. Louis and later moved to the mountains of New Mexico where it was kept in a garage under a car cover between uses. The car has theoriginal paint and upholstery - with some expected dings and scratches. In the four years I've owned the car, I've only put another 4,000 miles on the car - as the car was used mainly for weekend drives on the back roads. For a time, I also used the del Sol as my commuter car to work and back (30 miles each way) so the car is very reliable and still gets great gas mileage. The removable Targa Top (stored in the trunk) gets lots of attention, in part because Honda no longer makes a two seater convertible. The original 1.6L DOHC VTEC engine pulls amazingly strong and runs clean.
The del Sol came to me with a Kenwood aftermarket radio, the car cover the original owners used, and a dealer installed alarm system with no remotes (The original owner did not use the alarm and I've never looked into getting new remotes for it). Since owning, the car has been kept original, other than the notes below. I'veperformed the required scheduled maintenance and added a few options; all outlined below.
Transportation of this car will be the buyer's responsibility. Car sold As Is.
