For sale is my Honda z600 Coupe
With 22,274 original miles, I got the car with only 17,600 miles on it
I have the original owners manual and Honda Shop Manual dated 1973
Custom paint to reflect desert trim in Camouflage
This vehicle is my only car and is a daily driver by me.
I have had the car for 4 years and had the following work completed to make it a daily driver:
New Black Pebble leather seats
Leather dash cover
Gas tank removed and relined on inside
New Rear Shocks
New Muffler
New Exhaust pipe from engine to tail
Brake pads
Rotors
Replaced the generator armature and field coils
Rebuilt the rack and pinion steering
Replaced the ignition condenser
New ball joint bearings
Rebuilt Carburetor
New Brake master cylinder
New wheel bearings on all wheels
New Carpet kit
New headlights
Fog Lights
Wire mesh over lights
Passenger side mirror
All windows work
All door locks work
Brakes work perfectly
All Lights work
Dome light needs a bulb, but the spot light works
Bumpers were straightened and corrected then sandblasted. Then painted with no chrome on them
Simple car with no electronics
Ignition key turns, but the starter button is located in the glove box for anti-theft
The leather seats have been covered with seat covers as to not be exposed to the sun
I could have spent most of the money used to make this car work, on making it pretty with a new paint job and such, but the drive train being 100% was my concern. So nearly half of the money spent on this car was used to rebuild the upper half of the engine, make the brakes work perfectly, give a new clutch to shift with and go through the transmission making a safe vehicle to drive.
Unseen problems:
I have the original radio which does not work nor is in the vehicle
The windshield rubber gasket is cracked, but does not leak
The windshield has some chips and marks where the wiper blades moved over the windshield without the rubber blade on and left a mark on both sides.
Drivers side window has grind marks on it from a sander
The back window frame has a crack at one of the hinges, but operates properly
Back seat vinyl at top where the sun hits it, is damaged the rest of the seat is in excellent condition
Sometimes, when the vehicle is cold, it has a hard time going into 1st gear
The dash has cracks in it
The steering wheel has a crack in it
This car sat in the sun for years. The last registration I saw for it was 1996, so this is where most of the sun damaged occurred between 1996 and 2013 when I purchased it.
I have only put 5000 miles on the car since I have had it. And am old, so no thrashing of the vehicle happened. The vehicle was never taken over 5000 rpm since the rebuild
The 22,274 original mileage was verified as true by Merciless Ming's who did the work on the engine, transmission and clutch
With all this, I have $8200.00 into the car as it sits
Also comes with all the parts taken off or not used yet.
Vehicle is pick up only arranged by you from Vista, California
