Car description |
---|
bought this car 2 years ago, just drove it in spring thru fall: only put 40,000 miles on it
--previous owner put in new radiator and distributor
--was garage kept for its first 80,000 miles, hence the minimal rust (just minor surface rust on passenger side rear well, see pic)
--previous owner smashed the 2 doors on driver side and trunk, so i got a good trunk and center tail light at a junk yard and put it on, just needs painting and emblems which i have
--i did get 2 good doors also, just have not had time to put them on, trim has to be switched from power to manual
--interior is an 8 out of 10
--i put in a new igniter and timing belt in last year, new alternator few months ago, new clutch cable last month--replaced computer module
--bought it with busted rear defrost switch and blinker lever--all fixed, installed good ones i got at junk yard
--tires have maybe 25% left on them
--seat belt lamp stayed on when i bought it no matter what, so i mounted a small clock in front to block this annoyance
--lower left dashboard near door had crack in it, glued it with crazy glue
--installed great stereo, 4 ohm speakers sound excellent
this car is amazing, lots of life in it, selling it because i found a mint 1991 with 50,000 miles on it --when i first tested this car it got 41 miles per gallon, maybe the same now--i would run this car til kingdom come but i got too many cars
--in fact i notice that this car is more heavy duty then the 1991 LX i just bought, they scrimped on the small details going from the 1990 to the 1991
