Caris in excellent mechanical shape, starts first click, pulls strong and runs like a top. All lightsand switches on the car work properly. A/C is ice-cold, heater blows very hot. Kenwood stereo and speakers sound excellent, rear speakers provide good bass even without a subwoofer. Paint has few nicks and dings but still shines up nicely. Apexi exhaust has OEM-looking rear box but sounds nice, even better paired with the intake(OEM intake/air box will be included with the car). Please note that car is still being used so miles will go up until sold.
I am willing to ship the car anywhere in the lower 48. However, it will be the buyer's responsibility to make all the shipping arrangements.

On Mar-05-17 at 11:03:24 PST, seller added the following information:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I've received a couple of questions since the auction started. To save time, I've cut and pasted a reply I sent to a member; it should provide more information about the car I forgot to include in the initial listing.
"No paint fade, although the rear bumper is a bit oxidized. The previous owner had carport parking and I'm guessing the tail end was exposed to the CA sun. However, I think a good detail would bring it back to life, though.
Also, I've cut and pasted a reply to another member below. It has some more information about the car:
"No overheating issues whatsoever, not even with the AC on in crawl-speed LA traffic. Temp gauge never goes past the 1/3rd mark. It's a solid, reliable car that gets up to 32 mpg. I got it as a commuter, to ease the miles off my E46 M3. Still fun to drive yet better mileage.
Timing belt and water pump haven't been replaced. Those were on my to-do list (plus coilovers & a few other bits) until I found out that my 996 was in need of a new clutch and flywheel. Since I'm going to throw in an LSD "while I'm in there," I'm selling the Civic to fund that project.
The one gremlin/issue/noise that does annoy me and I was planning on fixing - is the rear heat shield for the exhaust. With the bigger-diameter cat-back, it sometimes makes contact against the heat shield under the passenger's side rear seat. It wasn't sounding off before I installed the new cat so I must've moved something out of place. One just needs to move it back in place again, maybe move the rubber hangers or whatnot. Just not easy to do with a low car & no lift.
Also, I forgot to list in the auction is that the original owner installed Solex door locks on both driver's and passenger side. A bit fiddly to unlock but definitely harder for thieves to break into, I'd like to think. I also have both original Honda keys plus the two Solex door keys (and the two Python remotes).
For the benefit of the other folks who've asked some questions, I'm also mentioning that the axles are still original, although there are no signs of grease/leakage from the boots. No noises, either. I've also attached picture of the driver's side seat bolsters to show the (non) wear."
Lastly, car is sold as is, no warranty implied, no returns accepted. Please keep this in mind before placing your bid.
