With Only 34,000 Original Miles!! This Typhoon was bought new in New York but came to Arizona in 1998 with just 9k Miles and just underwent a full cosmetic restoration led by a Typhoon/Cyclone expert and no expenses were spared. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the best collector grade Typhoons on the market in one of the rarest colors produced! Carfax shows a minor blemish in 2003, ut we have photo evidence of the damage, nly a small crease to the rear tail gate which was professionally repaired during the restoration. The Typhoon was the Jimmy-based SUV version of GMC's Cyclone, turbocharged, ll-wheel-drive truck that had technology and performance to rival supercars of the day. With a turbocharged and inter-cooled 4.3-liter V-6 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, he Typhoon made a whopping 280-hp and 360 lb.-ft. of torque. That power was routed to all four wheels with a torque distribution of 35-65 front to rear. This gave the Typhoon a 0-60 time of just 5.3-seconds, nd hit the quarter mile in just 14.1 at 95-mph. The Typhoon also featured upgraded brakes and suspension to keep all of that power under control, nd an air-operated self-leveling rear suspension that wasn't available on the Cyclone. While GMC made almost 4,700 Typhoons from 1992-1993, inding one in such good shape as this Bright Teal Version here in Scottsdale, Z. is a tall order. The original A-Pillar trim is included. Cosmetically you will be hard pressed to find a better unit. A no expense spared fully repaint was just completed and this truck was fully disassembled. All glass removed, oors pulled, ll jams and hinges fully re-conditioned. All Bumpers and Cladding fit perfectly with no funny gaps or issues. The special 2-piece GMC wheels were pulled apart, owder coated, hen correctly machined and reassembled. The interior is flawless with all original leather in outstanding supple condition. Perfect dash and door panels with no cracks or damage. The interior gauges, uttons, witches and lights all work like new. Even the original Delco CD player still works. The interior is finished off with its original Typhoon embroidered floor mats and all original keys and keyless entry remotes.
