1965 GMC Handi-Van first generation van similar to the Chevy G10 van

1965 GMC first generation Handi-van with a six cylinder Automatic.

This van was recently pulled from dry storage. I had a local shop get the van running and driving by pulling, leaning and sealingthe gas tank, new sending unit,replacing all the fluids and filters, leeding the brakes, epaired throttle linkage andadded new battery. I have driven the van around the block a few times and it gets a lot of attention. The head lights, ail lights, rake lights, peedometer, as gauge, indshield wipers and radio all work! Even though I wouldsuggest a good going over before driving very far, heengine leaks and smokes some. The windshield has a nickel size chip otherwise the glass is all good. The tires are a matched set with goodtread, ut they are old. The front driver side corner was damaged and not repaired very well (see photos), here is body filler inthat area as well as the drivers rear corner andin the bottom of the passenger side cargo doors. The filler is not because of rust through, he only rust on the van is surface patina. There are a few additional parts that go with the van, n instrument panel. extra door handles (visible in photos).
