This truck has had a full off-the-frame restoration!
The truck was restored to stock condition with the exception of having: newBF Goodrich Radial T/A tires & wheelsnew Kenwood cd player/radio/speakersnew split manifold with new Weber carburetorsnew dual exhaustsnew Pertronix ignition with new coil to matchnew alternatornew brakesnew master cylindernew clutchnew gas tank
The radiator was rebuilt as well as the seat which was covered with new vinyl.
The straight 6-cylinder 270 cu in original engine has been professionally examined and any worn parts were replaced. The engine was then repainted to the original GMC orange color.
The entire body was taken off the frame with each part being individually painted and then reassembled on the frame which was stripped and painted black.
The bed of the truck has been restored with custom made new oak boards that have been protected with linseed oil.
The heater work great and of course these trucks have never originally had air conditioning.
The only thing that has stopped working is the odometer. It stopped working at 9.9 miles after I reset it. The truck now has approximately 1500 miles on the engine.
The speedometer, oil pressure gauge and the fuel gauge all work well.
WOW!! The ONLY ONE on the entire West Coast!
