*In my opinion I would rate as follows (I am pretty picky):Interior 6 of 10 (Shows normal wear all over, missing glovebox latch, all interior is intact and comfortable to ride in)
Exterior 5 of 10 (Paint shows wear allover some peel and fading, minor corrosion behind left rear wheel area, some surface in other areas but no rot of any kind, frame is solid throughout, had hood pins installed before but removed now and holes remain in front hood corners)
Mechanical 7.9 of 10 (Runs well, fuel injected engine starts easy, runs and shifts very well, fun to drive, tires in great condition, new brakes, rear air shocks, trailer hitch receiver, all power windows work but window motors slow with age.A/C works and it has been retrofitted to R134a, is not as efficient as we are used to with late model vehicles of course, may have a slight leak, new blower motor and switch and resistor.
*NOTE: If you are buying from out of state,I recommend you make arrangements to ship or trailer the vehicle home from here. I have driven it about 1000-1500 miles or so with no issues at all, but although it was serviced completely, it IS a 31 YEAR OLD VEHICLE. I would prefer to "stretch its legs" locally rather than pushing her 500-1500+ miles on the highway. Just like our bodies, it takes a while to get "back into regular shape." Be reasonable with your expectations right off the bat. With that being said, I own a new Tahoe, and I prefer to drive this Suburban on the weekends because it is so simple and drives like a normal truck.
