This 1956 GMC has had an extensive restoration and modification to be the sleeper street machine it is today. The Brandywine paint is over a rock solid straight body. Good GMC short bed trucks are extremely rare, big back window trucks are even rarer. The entire front grill has been re-chromed along with front and rear bumpers and new oak bed with stainless strips. The engine has a performance built 383 stroker with aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake and air breather, finned valve covers, MSD ignition, nicely assisted with power steering and front power disc brakes. This truck sounds as good as it looks with headers and dual exhaust with flowmaster style mufflers. The interior is very clean with a charcoal bench seat and black dash with newer gauges in the original gauge cluster to manage the power. This Brandywine beautiful truck is rolling on classic SS Crager rims and BFG white letter radial all terrain tires. The truck was purchased out of the states in Fall 2016 and has been babied and stored in a climate-controlled garage. It has been entered in 2 auto shows and took best in show on both occasions.
