Up for bids is my rare 1993 GMC Sierra GT with 85,509 original miles. According to COMPNINE.COM records, the story of this early 1993 build Sierra GT begins on August 8, 1992 when it was built at GM's Ft. Wayne, Indiana plant. It was then shipped to Southern California where it spent its entire life until it was sent via enclosed transporter to me in 2018. This short wheel base 2 wheel drive fleet side pickup was factory finished in GM code 74U Victory Red with code 13D light gray interior. This truck was one of only 5,128 Sierras in 1993 that had bucket seats with a center console, but the rarest part of this truck is the GM code BYP Sport Equipment Package. This package featured Bilstein shocks and performance rated tires and only 3,681 Sierra GT's were produced with this option in 1993. This package was the equivalent of the SPORT package on the Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickups of the early 90's.The original 5.7 is under the hood along with all other original parts including intake and exhaust manifolds and air cleaner. This Sierra is completely stock with the exception of a Bell Tech lowering kit which I believe helps the look of the truck immensely, stainless steel Flowmaster muffler that sound nice but not obnoxious and a Pioneer radio with CD player and remote that were installed by the previous owner. The factory radio head and an NOS cassette player with EQ that is still in the GM box will be included with the sale if the owner wants to return it to stock. Right after I received the truck I put a new set of BFGoodrich Radial T/A P275/60R15 tires on it. Since I have owned it I have had new brakes and had a front end alignment done, as well as had the A/C converted to 143A. The original GM parts from the A/C conversion were retained and will go with the sale. I have also changed the oil, oil filter, transmission fluid and filter, rear end gear lube and fuel filter and installed new Bilstein rear shocks in the last two months. I would not be afraid to get in this truck and make a long road trip, I am very confident in it.The exterior of the truck has had one repaint in the correct 74U Victory Red and as can be seen in the photos, looks very nice with great shine and the body is straight. Due to the truck spending its life in sunny Southern California, it is ABSOLUTELY RUST FREE and is documented in the under body photos of the drivers and passenger side. It is obvious this truck has never been worked and it shows, as the bed of the truck has no dents or gouges. When I purchased the truck, it had a GM Duraliner in it, but the bed is so nice, I took it out and just use a bed mat in the bottom. The Duraliner was saved and will be reinstalled if the new owner wants it. The factory wheels are nice and I repainted the black in the background between the holes to give the wheels a like new look. All the glass is original GM, The interior is exceptionally nice with very minimal wear if any on the seating surfaces and the carpet is original and clean with no offensive odors. The headliner is strong with no sagging at all. The seat backs are not faded and all of the jack assembly tools are present. The window tint is less than a year old. The down side of spending its life in sunny California is that it does have small cracks in the dash and defrost vent area and they are documented in one of the photos. It was not an issue to me and is a replaceable part with some effort, I just believe in full disclosure in my auction. This is a very rare, very dependable truck with the right options and colors that is tons of fun to drive and gets a lot of attention every time I take it out. If you are looking for something you can actually drive and enjoy while still going up in value, this is it. The mileage may or may not go up by a few miles before the auctions end, just depends on if I decide to take it for one last ride.I have a clear Georgia title my name showing ACTUAL MILEAGE of 84,876 in hand and the CARFAX is clean. This is a 7 day auction with a very reasonable reserve. I require a $500 non refundable deposit via PAYPAL within 24 hours of auctions end with the remainder to be paid within 7 days. The remainder of payment will be via wire transfer from your bank to mine, cashiers check or cash in person. If a cashiers check is used for payment, the truck will not leave until payment is made in full or cashiers check has cleared my bank. I will be glad to store the truck safely indoors on a lift where it stays now after payment is made for a reasonable time while the buyer arranges shipping.Feel free to message me with any questions.
