Car description

1979 GMC 4X4 Jimmy, High Sierra Model. All original California barn find. It’s been sitting for years. It was pulled out, put some fuel in it, and after a couple attempts, it fired right up. After it was pulled out, we done a few things to get it going. The oil and filter was changed(the oil filter looked like an old mopar filter from the late 70’s or early 80’s). We put a new power steering pump and both lines were replaced. We also put new drive belts, new GM gas cap and an oem grill sourced and restored. The factory paint was cleaned up etc. we’re not for sure if the odometer has rolled over or not, but with being over 40 years old, we’d imagine so, but again, it’s been off the road since 1999, so who knows. It runs and shifts good. Doesn’t smoke or leak any fluids. All the glass is good, original radio still works, All the gages work, All the lights and turn signals work. Power steering(new) works, power brakes works, Heater works, power locks work, power window work(pass side needs help). The a/c doesn’t work. It drives down the road pretty good, but she pulls to the right some and needs a front alignment. It’s a nice solid truck. Solid frame, solid body. It does have alittle surface rust in spots from being up in the hills and it does have a couple rust/rot places(see photos) and dings and dents(see photos). Comes with a clear California title. It still has it’s original blue CA plates on it from the 70’s, with its original dealer license frames and owners manuals. Any questions, please ask before bidding. If you have zero(0) feedback, then you need to contact us first. This is a serious auction, we don’t want any games. Ty Now for the bla bla stuff; This truck is being sold as is with No warranty(obviously it’s over 40 years old). A $500 non-refundable deposit is due with 24 hours after close of auction. The remainder is due within 3 business days after close of auction. We can store the truck up to 3 weeks. After that, it will be put in storage at the buyers expense. Buyer is responsible for shipping of vehicle. We will be happy to assist in locating transport, if needed and can help with loading of vehicle. Good luck and Happy Bidding!!!
