I have an original 1970 GMC pickup. These trucks are getting hard to find. It is not possible to confirm if is a numbersmatching pickup using the VIN and block number. However, I am the third owner of this pickup and the previous ownerswere in the local Henryetta area. Theprevious owner confirmed with me that the 350 motor and 350 transmission wereoriginal. This truck has been wreckedbecause there is body puddy in the right fender, but the rest of the trucklooks good and is still in the Medium Olive Green paint. The odometer reads 18558, but it is morelikely 118,558. Some unique features ofthe truck are factory air, factory power steering, and a camper mirroroption. Look at the photo of glove boxoption sheet for list of options on the truck. The previous owner began restoring the interior to period correct itemssuch as seat, door panels, and dash so the interior is in good shape. I also have some new window weatherstrippingin a box ready to install. I just re-didthe brakes and put a new power booster on.It has Hancook tires that are in great condition and a spare mounted inthe bed that is likely the original spare. The spare has a Phillips 66 brand tire.I also put a new battery and an aftermarket radiator on, but I have theoriginal 4-row radiator with the brackets if you want to restore it. I also have the original wheels. I put a period correct headache rack on thatI used to have on a '68 truck. Thistruck runs great and has a lot of power. It shifts smooth and the brakes work great. Everything works except for the originalradio. The AC was working but the freon must have leaked out. All the lights, windshield wipers, and fan and heater work great. The previous owner left it outside so thereis surface rust and one rust-through on the one rocker panel. The other rockerpanel and the wheel wells look good.I also have a 1967-72 Factory Assembly Manualthat I will give to whoever buys the truck. This would be a good truck for a complete original restoration.
