1986 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic 4x4 - New Drivetrain, AC, Interior, Glass, Seals!

Well, it's time to sell my awesome 86 GMC Jimmy 4x4. Its not a perfect truck, but it is cool, fun to drive and just awesome all around! I spent the last year restoring this awesome piece of history and pretty-much touched almost every part of this truck except for a little body work that could be done (around $2K). It's a solid truck that's quick, built-well and really gets a ton of compliments!

Motor -

400HP (dyno cert) Blueprint 350, tuned 650 Edlebrock, Weiand Intake, aluminum radiator with elec fans - all new and lost of chrome, baby!

Exhaust -

Headers with true dual exhaust- Flo Master 50 series and tips. Has a moderate lope and sounds aggressive!

Transfer Case -

Cleaned, resealed and painted. 4x4 works well.

Trans -

Body and Paint-

Paint is a 85% in my opinion. Has a few rust spots that will need attention at some point, but I have cleaned and painted those areas to hold off further damage. Pics of these areas are in the Google photos link.

A/C/Heat -

All original parts have been replaced, Sanden added and it blows cold!

Glass -

New windshield and used side windows with new gaskets. The rest of the gaskets and window sweeps have been replaced except for the passenger side sweep and the wing gaskets.

Exterior Trim -

Replaced and shiny

Underside -

Sandblasted and coated. A couple of patches made. Overall, nice condition.

Wheels and Tires -

8" rally wheels with beauty rings and original caps (not those plastic ones). 25570R15 tires have about 70% tread left.

Interior -

New carpet and vinyl. Put down heat deflecting material. Original seats with a little wear but no tears. New Dash cover. All interior trim painted. Custom-made side panels with speakers moved to passenger area. Original stereo and new front speakers installed. All gauges work. Tailgate interior restored.

Suspension -
All original except for tie rod end and one more part that I can't think of at the moment. New shocks as well.
